No More Excuses! Get Your Degree Once and For All!

December 12, 2010Ralph I started college back in 1988 straight out of high school and kept at it for about 5 years bouncing between full and part time status without ever graduating. My IT career started in 1994 and for 13 years, I was able to scrape up a decent career but for me, it was getting harder and harder to find new opportunities. I found out about Capella from a friend at work and as soon as I contacted admissions, I was hooked. Their tuition is extremely affordable when compared to other online colleges and the courses they offer are both engaging and interesting. Even after 13 years in IT, I found myself still learning something every day! If you have made the decision to return to school or if you are just starting out, Capella lets you drop all of the excuses and get the degree you are looking for. Capella is also accredited which is extremely important. If you've made the decision to go back to school, do not hesitate, enroll at Capella today! Believe me...YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

Not the right school for busy learners...

June 24, 2011Endre I began at this school in 2008 and I'll admit, it was great - the courses were balanced enough that I could take 2 or sometimes 3 in a quarter and still maintain my job, and I felt like every class I learned a lot. Now the courses have changed, with lots of busy work, the professors take their time getting back to you, advisors are unresponsive and you never seem to keep the same one for more than a year, and financial aid is slow to respond but very apologetic. I would assert that this is no longer the right school for professionals looking to expand their education. It was before they became too popular, and now it would appear Capella is a victim of its own success.

A school that fit my schedule and paid off.

November 23, 2010Benjamin While just completing my associates degree and sort of undecided on whether to finish and get my BA degree, I looked into Capella University. Thanks to my wife and her introduction to the school I looked into what it had to offer in terms of degrees. After further research and reading about the programs, I made my choice that Capella University was the right school for me, and with my fulltime work schedule it couldn't have been a better fit. Now I work as a Health Information Exchange Administrator and getting hired just 4 months after earning my BA in IT. I now use 85% to 95% of the classes I took at Capella in my job. This was a no brainer for me when I decided to further my education at Capella University and attain my BA degree in Information Technology.

Capella was the right Choice!!

November 23, 2010Aisha There was an education fair at my job. I didn't want to talk to anyone because I didn't have time in my life for school. The guy at the Capella University table said to me "I bet that if you give me five minutes of your time, you will be a capella student" Well after explaining to the guy that I had no time in my life for school, he broke down how Capella worked for individuals like myself. I decided to enroll and that was the best decision I've made in my entire life. I am half way done with my last class and I will have my Bachelors Degree in December. I achieved this in only one year. I am very proud of myself.

A way to be successful

November 23, 2010Eric I had found that night school while fun was too disruptive to my busy life. Capella's online approach allowed me to finally complete my BS degree. Some of the courses that I really enjoyed were not what I really wanted to take (Chemistry and Ethics) while others that I was excited to take were a pain. I am so glad to have finished. My only critisim is that some courses contain serious mistakes that should have been found and fixed before release.

Learning for the Working Adult

November 24, 2010Don I have thoroughly enjoyed my program and learning experience with Capella so far. The classes are great, I've learned so much and I'm achieving my goal of a BS/MS in IT at my pace! Finally a school that recognizes professional experience and give credit where it is deserved and creating degree specializations that will help in the real world. Thank you Capella University.

BS in IT

September 29, 2011Mary I made a terrific choice by entering Capella in the fall of 2010. I feel that with one who has a disability, the Capella Programs make it easier for someone like me to have a better future. As for the program, it fits my needs for the field I plan to go into. The instructors are the best and their course materials are well written and understandable. They get back with you in a timely manner.

BS in IT

September 29, 2011Bonnie I have been attending Capella since fall 2010 and I couldn’t have made a better choice. Capella’s degree IT program is top notch and recently accredited by ABET. The professors are knowledgeable, personable and are active in the discussions. They challenge you to learn without overwhelming you; which is important for me because I am a full time employee, mother, animal care giver and a spouse of a deployed husband. The courses are relevant and the general education courses are interesting and engaging.

Best choice I ever made

September 27, 2011Brandy Going back to school was the best choice I have ever made. The General IT program is great for those unsure what they want to get into, or to make sure IT is for them. The program and the teachers are so wonderful they inspired and encouraged me to continue on for a Masters in Networking. Of all the schools I had a choice in, I am grateful that my Capella adviser convinced me to go to school here. I don't think I would have been as happy and would have gotten as much out of school at any other college. To all those looking at Capella or one of the IT programs at the university; this college has so much to offer and the teachers work with you, provide great feedback on your work, and provide constructive criticism to help you understand the concepts. This will prepare you to use those skills in the field of your choice. Good Luck!
