A tough program, well worth the investment

September 1, 2011MBA Capella University's MBA/Finance program was a great experience. I graduated in August 2011. My career choice is an Executive Technology Consultant for Financial Services institutions. Capella's degree program has helped me to learn the language of finance including accounting, statistics, international finance, foreign exchange, stocks, bonds, options, futures, and other exotic financial tools. I also honed my business skills in areas of negotiation, strategy, and customer relationship management. I found the Negotiation and Strategy courses of particular interest because of the teamwork components required in these courses. The negotiation course puts you in situations where you have to practice your skills against your peer students while a third student is taking notes about the interaction. In the strategy course, the teams all use the Glo-Bus simulator and compete to have the top-performing camera company in the world.

Getting an education at Capella

January 6, 2011Edris Getting your degree at Capella is definitely a wise investment. You learned hands- on. The instructors have expertise in the field they teach. Shortly after graduating, I became a supervisor and administrator for a university. I also started teaching at a college level at the same time. I love it ever since. A Fruitful Investment

August 31, 2011Rayo I am a proud current student of Capella University. I am proud because my investment is worth it. Initially, I thought that instructors will not have time to answer my question because I have a tight schedule with my four children. Shortly, after my enrollment, I found out how dedicated Capella University instructors are. I was given 100% support as needed to be successful. The enrollment staffs are super fantastic, because as confused as I was, they guided me through my enrollment. Bottom line Capella is the right deal; it is worth my time, energy and money. My expected graduation date is Febuary 2012.
