Capella's Entrepreneurship MBA specialization provides a foundation in financial accounting, global marketing, operations management, data analysis, and other key disciplines needed to achieve business success. The curriculum also examines the advantages and disadvantages of various entrepreneurial business structures, funding options, and growth and exit strategies. Gain more value from your degree

MBA learners may not take courses associated with any other degree program within the School of Business and Technology or any other school at Capella University while they are enrolled in the MBA degree program.

Expand your educational and career opportunities by choosing one of Capella's degree enrichment options.

  • Expand your career options with additional specializations

Increase your knowledge and career options by earning multiple specializations as part of your bachelor's or master's degree program at Capella. If you have elective courses in your program, you may be able to use them toward earning another specialization. However, completing additional specializations may extend your total credits beyond the requirements of your degree.

Once a learner has completed at least 100 undergrad credits, they can enroll in the combined option with the MBA program.

    The requirements are as follows:

    • Learners must successfully complete 100 undergrad credits before being enrolled in the program.
    • Learners must complete all 12 of the combined option credits at Capella (cannot transfer).
    • Learners must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better in both the undergrad and MBA courses.
    • Learners must also earn a grade of “B” or better in each MBA course.
    • Learners will only have the option of taking the MBA courses during the first session of each quarter (to avoid any issues if the learner earns a grade below 3.0).
    • Learners who fail to meet any of the requirements above will be removed from the combined option program and will not be allowed to re-enroll.
    • Credits earned in the combined option program can be applied toward a future MBA, but not via the combined option.
