Business Intelligence specialization

Prepare yourself to become a leader in business intelligence and complete an applied dissertation project that allows you to make an immediate, practical contribution to your organization. The curriculum incorporates information technology management, information science, quantitative analysis, decision science, and management science into a single specialization focused on strategic and tactical decision making in such areas as data warehousing, modeling, and analysis. You will also explore global perspectives of business leadership, including an opportunity to participate in an international field experience. Online courseroom discussions, specially designed networking sites, and face-to-face weekend residencies provide ongoing opportunities to build professional relationships and share knowledge with other business leaders around the country. People who choose this specialization are often pursuing leadership, consulting, or teaching positions in the field of business intelligence.

Residency requirements: Three 3-day colloquia

Learn about the residential colloquia experience.
In addition to your online courses, you will attend three 3-day residential colloquia at specific stages in your program. These energizing residencies provide you with insights and knowledge that will be valuable during your DBA studies and beyond.

The price for each DBA residency is included in your quarterly tuition, but doesn't include costs for evening meals or travel. You'll be responsible for making your hotel reservations and travel arrangements.

Opportunity for cross-cultural learning

Admission to the Business Intelligence specialization requires learners to complete and submit the DBA Course Registration Acknowledgement.
Learners are responsible for the cost of their travel, accommodations, food, and other expenses associated with this course.
