Project Management

This online Project Management certificate will prepare you to lead large projects by helping you develop the competencies associated with "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge" (PMBOK) from the Project Management Institute (PMI®). It is designed for technology professionals who already have a bachelor's degree and want to develop the skills needed to complete complex projects on time, on budget, and to specification. The curriculum provides opportunities to master project management principles through practice and interaction, as well as course work.

The term certification refers to the official mandate awarded by a state regulatory board or professional organization to an individual for a specific professional practice.

Capella PM Cert vs. PMP Certification

May 16, 2011Kevin Across the country when employers are looking for Project Management employees they ask about the PMP certification, it is basically the standard by which PM talent is evaluated. I am amazed that Capella does not have any format or any information in which we can compare the Capella PM cert to the PMP certification.It would be nice if I could say I have a Project Management certification from Capella University which is basically the equivalent to an Comptia PM Cert or a PMP cert. Are there any plans in the making for such a scholastic comparison?
