Teaching Philosophy

"I believe that to be most effective as an instructor, one must create an environment that fosters collaborative and cooperative learning to develop critical thinking skills. This, in turn, will promote problem-solving abilities, which are a necessity for today’s students to become tomorrow’s leaders. One of my passions is teaching others and watching them learn and develop these necessary critical thinking skills. I believe that exposing students to different points of view, especially among their cohorts, prepares them for success in our heterogeneous world."
